I have recently become a proud owner of Elinchrom BXRi studio lights. The things you can do with light are simply amazing. With carefully selected modifiers you can achieve effects simply not available to hot-shoe flash shooters. Well, perhaps they are achievable but with a lot more effort. And somehow the quality of light is oh so different.
