You're right of course, it has a sort of "old style" feel to it... which actually makes quite a refreshing change. I've got a few self-hosted blogs and the flexibility and control they offer is far superior to the WP-hosted ones. Dunno really why I've stuck with WP hosting for my photo blogs. Just one of those things I guess. Ah yes, I understand now ;)
