has been posted to Flickr™ more than three weeks ago and got only twenty three views despite the fact that I consider it to be much better photograph. What gives?

Try looking at the photo stats for each one to see where the views are coming from… the previous photo has some tags that may have attracted an “interesting” crowd.

The majority of traffic for the previous photo comes from flickr search for ‘riding boots’, ‘ridingboots’ and ‘boots’. The ‘interesting’ crowd I think you are referring to, is responsible for max. of 10 views. If only I could get some sort of stats on the viewer’s gender. I would bet that a lot of teenage girls with well developed equestrian ‘disorder’/addiction are responsible for this traffic. (I am only talking from my own experience with my own daughter here
